GOV would like to announce the appointment of Sheen Andola as Chair of the Board of Directors as of December 16, 2022. As per our bylaw, the Chair is appointed by the Board from among the Directors at the first board meeting following each AGM. We wish Sheen and the Board the best of luck as GOV heads into another exciting year!
GOV would also like to express its heartfelt thanks to the outgoing Co-Chairs of the Board of Directors, Andre Scott and Martin Henry. The Co-Chairs' terms expired at the first Board meeting following this year's AGM. Andre and Martin presided over the Board during an extremely challenging period of the pandemic. Their leadership has helped GOV reopen with its core programs, including our first in-person soiree in the Spring of 2022 and the return of our beach league last summer. Andre and Martin will remain as Directors until their term expires at the end of the next AGM in 2023.

Conformément à nos règlements, le président est nommé par le conseil d'administration parmi les administrateurs lors de la première réunion du conseil suivant chaque AGA. Nous souhaitons à Sheen et au conseil d'administration tout le meilleur pour GOV qui entame une autre année passionnante !
GOV tient également à remercier chaleureusement les coprésidents sortants du conseil d'administration, Andre Scott et Martin Henry. Le mandat des coprésidents a expiré lors de la première réunion du conseil d'administration suivant l'AGA de cette année. Andre et Martin ont présidé le conseil d'administration pendant une période extrêmement difficile de la pandémie. Leur leadership a permis à GOV de rouvrir ses programmes de base, notamment notre première soirée en personne au printemps 2022 et le retour de notre ligue de plage l'été dernier. André et Martin resteront administrateurs jusqu'à l'expiration de leur mandat à la fin du prochain AGA en 2023.
